I’m Bryan. I work at Slide as a Staff Engineer. Any resemblance to my employer’s opinions, past, present, or future, is purely coincidental.

This is a streaming journal – a reverse-chronological feed mixing short notes and long articles. Notes are quick thoughts, links, and observations. Articles are the longer stuff: systems debugging, philosophy of mind, economic simulation, fiction, half-baked theories, and whatever else I feel like writing.

Every post carries an authorship level indicating how much of the writing is human vs. AI.

Bot drafted. I reviewed it and am happy to post it in my space, but it’s not my voice.

2Co-Written

I wrote the structure and outlines. AI helped synthesize them into full text. I edited the result. More of my fingerprints on the prose than level 1, but still a collaboration.

3Human Written

I typed every word. AI was used at most for spellcheck and making sure sentences parse. The writing is entirely mine.
